AMS Cleaning Safety Policy

AMS Cleaning is very conscious of safety and the implications of accidents occurring with resultant injuries to Staff or Customers. With this in mind a Safety Policy Document has been drawn up and is available to Employees &Customers. C.O.S.H.H. and the use of hazardous substances is a concern also and regular notes are put in Staff wage envelopes to prompt them about not mixing chemicals and clearly labelling spray bottles.

Risk Assessment

Risk Assessments are important and a formal document is available plus, during Periodic checks items can appear on report. Staff are also encouraged to make use of the "Signing-on Book" by indicating any items needing attention and the column marked "comments" is for this purpose.

The Owner

The Company Owner, Ms Linda Smith, has the Foundation Certificate in Health & Safety in the Workplace from the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health.
